Paper submissions

Paper submissions are closed now.

Paper Revision:

Authors of accepted papers are encouraged to revise their paper incorporating the reviewers' comments;

Session Code:

The session code provided in EDAS after final paper's submission indicates the session number and session title of the workshop. Authors need to go to the IEEE ICC 2013 website at http://www.ieee-icc.org/2013/ to check the details of the session (including the day and time slot) in which their paper will be presented.

Submission of the final version of your paper:

Note that each accepted workshop paper is limited to 6 pages (no charge for the first (up to) 5 pages, USD100 for the 6th page). The final manuscript is due by 8 March, 2013 and authors must be registered for that specific IEEE ICC 2013 workshop to upload their paper. After authors registers for the workshop and receive the required registration confirmation code, they need to go to EDAS to upload their manuscript.

Guidelines for final manuscripts formats:

Please refer to: http://ieee-icc.org/submguide.html
Use the most current version of Microsoft Word, which will help reduce word-to-pdf conversion issues such as embedded fonts, bookmarks, etc
No page numbers and no headers/footers
A non-zero PDF top and bottom margins (typically, at least 0.5 inches) to help indicate if there are any page numbers.

In order to be published in the IEEE ICC 2013 Workshops Proceedings and IEEE Xplore, an author (including students) of an accepted paper is required to register for the workshop and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the workshop unless the ICC 2013 Workshop Organizers and General Workshop Chairs grant permission for a substitute presenter. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. Please register via

For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full or limited registration is valid for up to 3 papers in that workshop. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE ICC 2013 Workshop Proceedings and in IEEE Xplore.

Although the registration confirmation code enables submission of up to three papers, it can only be used once, by the author, to create an author account for submissions. Authors must not share their registration confirmation code with anyone else. Authors can register at http://www.ieee-icc.org/2013/

Please note that starting 2013, ComSoc has instituted a new policy that a paper needs to be presented by an AUTHOR of the paper. Delegating the paper presentation to a non-author colleague is not admissible. Non-adherence to this policy will result in the paper being dropped from IEEE Xplore. Please make sure that you obtain all visa, travel preparations, etc., in a timely manner, as it is the responsibility of the authors to ensure presentation by one of them.

With a registration to upload your paper(s), you as a person are eligible to attend the workshop. If your co-authors also wish to attend, they are kindly asked to register by themselves.

No-Show Policy:

The organizers of IEEE ICC 2013 as well as attendees expect accepted papers to be presented at the workshop by the author of that paper. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the workshop.

To assist authors with presentation we suggest to review the presentation guide provided at http://www.ieee-icc.org/2013/

We suggest to authors to make airline and hotel reservations as early as possible. Additionally if visa assistance is needed, the Visa Support page at http://www.ieee-icc.org/2013/ will help you.
